One of the great ways InfoReady admins can share your work in the InfoReady Platform is through template sharing. In InfoReady, you can share a competition template with any other admin, regardless of where they work. Processes are often similar between departments and institutions and template sharing saves time and may include useful questions you may not have considered. Once a template is shared with you, you can save a copy and customize it to fit your needs.
The generosity of our admins has always been amazing, not only were our admins often able to find the templates they needed, but sometimes the template's creator would hop on a call with the other admin and share tips and tricks too!
Although template sharing has been part of InfoReady for many years, finding a template often required you to put out a request for a template with their account manager or on the InfoReady Listserv. Now there is a faster and more comprehensive option, the InfoReady Template Library!
Find a Template
The Template Library has been initially filled with templates that our clients ask for every day, like Letters of Intent, Fellowships, No-Cost Extensions, Scholarships, and more, but as importantly, InfoReady admins can share their templates too.
Share a Template
If you have an InfoReady template that you don't see in the library you can share it with us to post on the site. Do you want credit? We'll put your name on it! If you want to stay anonymous we can do that too. The InfoReady Team will double check to make sure the template doesn't have any proprietary information before posting.
Suggest a Template
Is there a template you think would be useful to you and your peers that you aren't seeing? You can make a suggestion, and an InfoReady employee may be able to create one for the Library. If not our Support Team will be able to provide pointers to help you create what you need.
In its first few weeks we have had dozens of requests for templates, with some people asking for as many as eleven templates at a time!
Admins need to create a new InfoReady account for the Template Library site in order to receive or share templates, using the same email address as the one they use for their own institution.
One of the great benefits of working at InfoReady is that getting to work with university administrators.
