By April 24, 2026, Federal guidelines require all academic web content, online course materials, and institutional digital content must meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards. Read below to see how InfoReady supports these requirements and what you can do to stay compliant.
Need information we didn't cover in this issue? You can always reach out to your account manager or email us at info@inforeadycorp.com. We're ready to help.
The new InfoReady homepage experience is a key result of our ongoing accessibility work, designed to better support the updated Federal web accessibility guidelines. New regulations for public institutions take effect April 24, 2026, requiring state and local government websites and mobile apps to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. For over a year, InfoReady has dedicated part of every release to enhancing accessibility across the platform, helping our partners stay compliant. Read the blog post to see what’s changing and how it can help your team prepare.
We've also created a page collecting information on accessibility changes and documents. This page will continue to be updated so please check this page first for answers to accessibility questions. Feel free to share this page with your IT teams to help answer their questions as well.

GETTING STARTED WITH FORM DESIGNER MIGRATION
ADVANCED FORM DESIGNER MIGRATION
Directory Look-Up is a powerful integration option to pull data directly from your existing student and faculty information systems to automatically populate user fields in InfoReady. As an administrator, reviewer, or letter writer, you can simply start typing a few letters of a name and instantly locate the right person, no more guessing or retyping information.
If a user has multiple email addresses on file, the system consolidates them into a single record, so messages go to the correct address tied to their Single Sign-On credentials. That means fewer bounced emails and smoother communication for both applicants and administrators.
Within the Form Designer Template, you can easily add User Lookup fields that let applicants search your directory to identify the exact individual they need to reference. This integration can also pre-fill information in the Co-Applicants section, further reducing manual entry and errors.
If Directory Look-Up sounds like it could help your team, reach out to your Account Manager to discuss options and pricing.
If you’re still relying on Funding or General templates, now is the perfect time to upgrade those opportunities so they’re simpler for you to manage and easier for applicants and reviewers to complete.
Over the past several months, we’ve added clear prompts and guidance that walk you through each step of upgrading your forms to the Form Designer experience.
Between now and July 1, 2026:
After July 1, attempting to create a new opportunity from one previously built on the General or Funding templates will automatically take you into the upgrade process prior to launching. This includes draft opportunities, copying previously launched opportunities, and saved custom templates.
Important: You will continue to be able to manage any previously launched opportunities built on the Funding or General template for the duration of those opportunities, including access to Progress Reports.
For complete information on the upgrade process, see Transferring Existing Opportunities to the Form Designer Template on the InfoReady Support Portal.
Until now, only the Internal Submission Date could be added to a calendar by downloading an iCalendar file. With this release, any key date tied to a competition can be added directly to a user’s personal calendar, whether they use Outlook, Google, iCloud, or another provider. Each event will display a clear, descriptive title for that specific date and include a direct link back to the competition in InfoReady. From there, users can personalize the event with their own notes or even invite collaborators, just as they would with any other calendar event.
As you start using this enhanced experience, please keep in mind that the legacy Calendar page will be retired as part of the transition to the new InfoReady homepage.
We continue to make improvements across the platform to ensure that your InfoReady tenant meets accessibility standards.
